Sanyo Denki’s Unique Product、[SAN-Thermo]®is a ‘temperature-measuring cable’ born from the wire manufacturing process.
We embedded a temperature sensor (thermistor) inside a 5mm diameter cable, enabling simultaneous temperature measurement at multiple points.
The number of sensors can range from 1 to a maximum of 40 points, with cable lengths freely adjustable up to 100m. Additionally, regardless of the number of points or cable length, the cable diameter remains at 5mm.

Once installed, it allows continuous power and signal reception without the need for battery replacement, making it maintenance-free.
In terms of cost, it can be reduced compared to thermocouple and wireless types. We offer not only the cable alone but also set sales including the interface device and basic software.

The conventional methods, such as connecting numerous temperature sensors wirelessly or networking multiple thermocouples through converters and transmission devices, faced challenges such as the complexity of installation and power supply work, the need for multiple wireless devices, and increased costs associated with thermocouple converters and transmission devices.

Sanseimo® by Sanyo Denki simplifies this process by connecting an interface device to a PC with basic software installed via USB and laying sensor-embedded cables at the measurement points. Unlike other methods, there is no need for wireless devices, transmission equipment, or power supply to the intermediate parts. This results in significant cost savings compared to wireless and thermocouple-based approaches.
